The Members of the Eighth Congressional District Democratic Committee are proud to report that Congressman Don Beyer was the only Democratic candidate to file the Declaration of Candidacy, Primary Filing Fee Receipt, and Petitions of Qualified Voters with the Eighth District Democratic Chair Margo Horner. Chair Horner certified to the Virginia Department of Elections on March 30, 2018, that Donald S. Beyer Jr. filed the required documents. Since Congressman Don Beyer was the only candidate qualified, he is the Democratic nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in the Eighth Congressional District.
