The Mass and Celebration of Mame’s life will be on Tuesday, June 10th at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (8710 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway, Alexandria, VA 22309; map, click here). Services will be led by Father Creedon, and speaking at the funeral will be Congressman Moran, Senator Warner, and Kathy Lash with readings from her family.
A reception will follow in adjacent Creedon Hall. Following the reception, in true Mame fashion, there will be an opportunity for friends to continue the celebration of her life with the raising of glasses with toasts and fun stories at Virtue Feed & Grain in Old Town in the upstairs bar (106 South Union Street, Alexandria, VA 22314; map, click here). The funeral at 11:00 am will be the only official service, there will not be any viewings prior to the funeral.
At this time there have not been any charities that have been designated in remembrance for Mame.
