At the first meeting of the newly elected 8th CD Committee, Monday, May 20th at the Falls Church Community Center, with nearly the full complement of members and a number of guests present, officers were elected unanimously:

- 1st Vice Chair, Pixie Bell
- 2nd Vice Chair, Susan Kellom
- Secretary, Maureen Markham
- Treasurer, Rose Chu
