Thank You from Congressman Moran

On Election Night in front of many of you at the Westin, I thanked you for your support, your vote and for all your tireless work in achieving victory in a difficult year for all Democrats.  It was a hard fought race, and one in which we can be proud.  But we must be mindful that the coming two years are going to be difficult – it will be a tough fight to protect the progress we have made on issues such as Wall Street reform and providing improved health care for Americans.
 
The 8th Congressional District of Virginia should be proud of our victory and our achievements over the past two years – and I am proud of your support for me and the change in direction from the Bush policies.
