In her blog, OFA Organizer, Chrisi West, writes of her inspiration by 8th CD member Pixie Bell.

As an activist and mother of 13, Pixie has dedicated her entire life to Democratic causes, and has created a legacy of woman leadership in Virginia politics that would be hard to surpass- and she doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon!

Throughout March, OFA Virginia will present an ongoing blog series celebrating American women of distinction, both past and present, in Virginia. We’ll be writing about influential women in our country’s history and leaders who continue making contributions today.
